Greetings! I’m Michael Hickey Sr., a disabled and retired VA employee, a father of five, and a grandfather. The year I retired from federal service was also the year I discovered my passion for cruising. My loved ones encouraged me to take my first cruise to the Bahamas. I’ll admit I needed some convincing—I was a bit hesitant because I didn’t know much about cruising.

That first cruise was aboard the Norwegian Gem, and after sailing to the Bahamas and Great Stirrup Cay, there was no turning back. Never did I imagine I’d hold a stingray, swim with dolphins, or try conch fritters! Since our marriage, we’ve made cruising an annual tradition—often more than once a year. For me nothing compares to Freestyle Cruising, incredible tropical destinations, and the friendly, fun people you meet along the way. You may be more receptive to  Disney, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, or Princess etc. No matter your preferences, I can help. I’ve come to love these cruise experiences so much that it’s now my mission to help as many people as possible enjoy them as well.

And it’s not just the Eastern Caribbean. We’ve played with sea lions, spent time with native monkeys in Honduras, and even taken cooking classes with a renowned Mexican chef.
